Support can include resume building, training, job placement assistance, and help paying for work-related essentials such as tools, transportation, insurance, and similar costs that can affect a veteran’s ability to start or keep a job.
Veterans Place serves veterans in Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Westmoreland, and Washington counties. The low-income veterans and families program is focused specifically in and around Allegheny County and the city of Pittsburgh.
