Veterans During the Holidays

As the holiday season approaches, now is a wonderful time to make plans with your family, enjoy traditions and the festivities of the holidays. It is also a time of giving and a time when we should reflect on those who struggle during the holiday season, like our homeless and at-risk veteran population.

Thanksgiving is a time where we gather with family to enjoy a delicious meal, but more importantly, it is also a time to reflect on what we are most thankful for. At Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard, we are thankful for our veterans and the freedom we have because of their sacrifices.

Veterans Place Holds Smaller Tribute to Honor Veterans – KDKA 2 Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh is known for its huge Veterans Day parade to honor those who served, but with COVID-19 canceling this year’s parade, several smaller tributes were held in the area including VeteransPalooza at Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard; KDKA's Paul Martino reports.
