Pittsburgh, PA — Veterans Place of Washington Boulevard is proud to announce a special $40,000 Independence Day Matching Gift Campaign made possible by the generous support of the Jack Buncher Foundation.
In honor of America’s 250th Anniversary, every donation made to Veterans Place during the campaign will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $40,000, through Sunday, July 12.
This campaign gives supporters the opportunity to double their impact and help Veterans Place continue providing critical services to local veterans, including Employment Services, Recovery Support Services, food pantry access, daily meals, housing support, and other wraparound resources.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Jack Buncher Foundation for their continued support and commitment to local veterans,” said Kevin Kordzi, Executive Director of Veterans Place. “This matching gift campaign allows our community to make twice the impact at a time when we are reflecting on the freedoms made possible by those who served.”
For nearly 30 years, Veterans Place has supported veterans experiencing homelessness or housing instability throughout the Pittsburgh region. Through housing, employment services, recovery support, food assistance, and individualized care, Veterans Place helps veterans rebuild stability and move toward independence.
Community members are encouraged to make a gift before the campaign ends on Sunday, July 12, by visiting veteransplaceusa.org.
